The devices in the VIBTRONIC®-S SD(E)...-2 series are fully equipped thyristor controllers for operating electromagnetic vibration drives. The smart phase angle control can be used for magnetic vibrators and small conveyor drives (also known as dosing drives) from AViTEQ and third-party manufacturers. Ideal for operating vibratory systems safely and efficiently. With various standard functions, the devices can be used in a wide range of areas and adapted to the working environment in a variety of ways. Our new controllers perfectly replace our old SD(E)...-1, SRA(E), SC(E) and SA(E) series.
Phase angle control for oscillating systems
The VIBTRONIC®-S SD(E)...-2 phase angle control from AViTEQ regulates the power of vibration systems precisely and energy-efficiently. Depending on the vibration frequency (25/33/50/100 Hz or 30/40/60/120 Hz), the sinusoidal alternating voltage is "cut" in a corresponding half-cycle so that only the required proportion of the electrical energy reaches the drive. Thanks to the use of modern thyristor technology, the oscillation intensity can be infinitely adjusted - from fine dosing to full delivery capacity. This type of control ensures an even material flow, reduces mechanical stress and extends the service life of the oscillating systems.
