At AViTEQ we test tomorrow's technology today
Our technical center offers the perfect test environment for the AViTEQ technology of tomorrow. In this vibration and weighing laboratory, bulk materials are subjected to intensive testing using a wide variety of methods. Flow properties, gradient and drying capabilities as well as sieve analyses are just some of the tests that help us to find the right solution for our customers' individual requirements.
Only when the products have completely passed these tests do we consider them good enough to install them for our customers. For us at AViTEQ , sustainable research has always been an essential part of our philosophy. This is how we ensure that we can find the optimum solution for our customers' tasks.
The AViTEQ technical center: testing applications in practice
More than a dozen devices are available on an area of around 100 m² in the AViTEQ technical center to test a wide variety of applications and materials on our vibration technology systems. These include test systems for horizontal and vertical conveying, spreading, separating and screening, drying, aligning and dosing, with more already in the pipeline.
In addition to conveyor pipes and troughs, the technical center has two screening devices with a large collection of screening surfaces, a cooling and drying spiral with IR emitters, a cooling and drying trough with reversing operation with IR emitters, a spreader and loss-in-weight devices (LiW) for continuous weighing and portioning.
Assured results for us and our customers
At AViTEQ Technikum, we play it safe in every respect. That is why all laboratory devices work with the standard EU power connections of 230V or 400V at 50Hz. Voltage and frequency converters enable adaptations to customer-specific conditions.
In order to document all test series meticulously, the technical center is equipped with a sieve analysis device as well as modern weighing and measuring technology. It goes without saying that all tests are recorded, on request also by video technology, and documented in a detailed test report.
By the way: If you need to test a bulk material on site at your company for security, confidentiality or procedural reasons, we will be happy to provide you with a loaner device.

Perfect simulation: our research reduces costs
The latest technology is used in the development of systems and components at AViTEQ . For example, we use the computer-aided calculation method "Finite Element Method" (FEM) for targeted structural analysis, in which complex components are analyzed by breaking them down into smaller functional units.
This allows the behavior of a component to be simulated extremely realistically, for example to determine the effects of vibrations, temperatures and other physical forces. On the one hand, hidden weak points can be uncovered and eliminated, and on the other, potential savings can be identified, which we pass on directly to our customers.
Unique knowledge thanks to research and experience
Do you have any idea how many materials have already been conveyed and processed with AViTEQ systems? 3,700 different bulk solids and their most important properties alone are stored in the unique AViTEQ bulk solids database. From aerosil to cellulose, from bauxite to quartz flour and xanthan gum.
This reservoir of knowledge contains the values from the results of countless experimental tests in our bulk solids laboratory as well as the knowledge from over 80 years of experience in conveyor technology. We draw on this knowledge when developing new systems and components. The advantage for you: we have an eye for what is feasible and therefore reach our goal particularly quickly and reliably.
